eth_getBlockReceipts on Avalanche
Returns every transaction receipt in a block in one call — far cheaper than looping eth_getTransactionReceipt per tx. Ideal for indexers ingesting blocks.
One call replaces N per-tx receipt calls, so it's the fastest way to ingest logs + statuses while indexing. Some older clients don't implement it — fall back to per-tx receipts on a method-not-found error.

Blocks on Avalanche
Avalanche consensus gives near-instant, irreversible finality: an accepted block is final and the C-Chain does not reorg. "latest" is therefore as trustworthy as "finalized" — a real simplification for confirmation logic.

eth_getBlockReceipts on Avalanche — FAQ
How do I call eth_getBlockReceipts on Avalanche?
POST a JSON-RPC 2.0 request with "method": "eth_getBlockReceipts" to NodeFlare's Avalanche endpoint at https://rpc.nodeflare.app/avax/public. No API key is required for the public endpoint.
What does eth_getBlockReceipts cost on the free tier?
eth_getBlockReceipts is weighted at 2 compute units per call. The free tier includes 2,000,000 CU/month, so that is roughly 1,000,000 eth_getBlockReceipts calls per month — no credit card.
Is eth_getBlockReceipts available on the public Avalanche endpoint?
Yes. eth_getBlockReceipts works on the public Avalanche endpoint (https://rpc.nodeflare.app/avax/public) with no API key, rate-limited per IP. A free key adds higher limits and a dedicated path.
Anything Avalanche-specific to know when using eth_getBlockReceipts?
Avalanche consensus gives near-instant, irreversible finality: an accepted block is final and the C-Chain does not reorg. "latest" is therefore as trustworthy as "finalized" — a real simplification for confirmation logic.
